Inventory Survey Example
A comprehensive marina inventory survey begins with meticulous planning, defining the survey area using satellite imagery specific to the marina to ensure complete coverage. The next step involves programming the drone for an efficient, automated flight path tailored to the marina’s layout. During the image capture phase, approximately 150-200 high-resolution images are taken, which are then stitched together to create a seamless, orthomosaic map. To enhance clarity, the mosaic is converted into a line-based diagram. Finally, we refine the diagram, removing extraneous elements like trees and shadows, resulting in a clean and accurate representation of boats, whether in water or on-the-hard.
